These are the rules to the Starcraft Fanon Wiki. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in administrative action ranging from a repriment to a 1,000 year ban.

General RulesEdit

  • Anyone is welcome to join, regardless of race, age, sex, etc.
  • No flaming or trolling
  • Vandals are not allowed and will be banned.
  • No multiple accounts.

DisclaimerEdit

We are not affiliated with Blizzard in any way, shape or form. Any and all characters used in this wiki belong to Blizzard except for fanmade characters. If Blizzard tells us to remove any content or take down this website we will comply glady. All articles and edits must not breach any copyright laws.

Proper Spelling and GrammarEdit

It is strongly advised that proper spelling and grammar be used when creating an article. Any articles that do not meet wiki standards will have the Spelling/Grammar template on top. It would be greatly appreciated if any wiki member would copyedit any article with atrocious spelling and grammar.

An Acceptable ArticleEdit

An acceptable article must have at least 500 words unless given specific permission from an admin. Articles must also follow any preestablished canon. Ponies and anything that resembles a pony will not be allowed on this wiki and will be deleted immediately.

List of Approved CanonEdit

This is the list of approved canon for this wiki in order. Sources on the top will have greater weight than sources on the bottom of this list.

  • Starcraft Games: Original, Brood War, Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm, Legacy of the Void (The best source, since the whole everything is based on the games)
  • Blizzard cinemetics released out-of-game (While these are rare, they do happen. Cinemetics such as Starcraft: Ghost trailer etc are considered high canon)
  • Starcraft Archive: Uprising, Liberty's Crusade, Speed of Darkness (Shadow of the Xel'Naga has been left out due to many inconsistancies with other canon sources)
  • Starcraft II novels: Heaven's Devils, Devils' Due, Flashpoint (These are the most recent Starcraft books with most relevance to the current Starcraft timeline)
  • Other Starcraft books: Queen of Blades, I Mengsk, Dark Templar Saga, Starcraft: Ghost (Quite reliable sources with a few contradictions)
  • Starcraft: Frontline (Not as reliable as the books, many contradictions with established canon)
  • Starcraft Comic (Not as reliable as the Frontline manga. Many contradictions)
  • Short Stories (Perhaps one of the worst besides Shadow of the Xel'Naga in inconsistancy and inaccuracy. To be used as a last resort)
  • Shadow of the Xel'Naga (The Book That Shall Not Be Named. So many inconsistencies that any article that cites this as their source will be put up as obsolete)

FanfictionEdit

See main article: Fanfiction

Fanfiction is allowed on the Starcraft Fanon Wiki. Separate pages should be be made for each chapter, in this format: Title/1, Title/2, etc. Crossovers with other universes will be allowed. However, the content from each universe should match their respective canons.
